Lisa Gravil

Executive Assistant

Lisa grew up in Augusta, GA where she attended Westside and Aquinas High Schools, later graduating from the Medical College of Georgia in the Dental Assisting Program. She has lived in the Lowcountry since 1976. Her previous careers included being a dental hygienist and dental office manager, an administrative assistant for SC Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, and a project manager at International Paper Company.

Lisa’s responsibilities as the Executive Assistant for the Spring Island Trust are diverse. They include overseeing day-to-day administrative duties, member services, providing administrative support for member-organized programs (such as Trust Talks and Trips and Tours), and facilities management for Trust-owned buildings. She also is an important member of the Trust’s education and fundraising planning teams.

The mission of the Spring Island Trust is to preserve and protect Spring Island’s environment and cultural history, providing education, expertise, and leadership in the conservation of natural resources throughout the Lowcountry.
